Transportation Services
We offer transportation services for an additional cost to support participation in our programs, based on available spots on the route. Families can choose AM only, PM only, or both AM & PM transportation. Services are available for Wisconsin riders in the Kenosha / Pleasant Prairie area.
Important Information:
- Pick-up and drop-off times are approximate. Drivers may arrive 10–15 minutes early or late depending on other riders on the route.
- Schedule changes of 30 minutes or more will be communicated to families.
- Weather and traffic can affect transportation. In cases of poor road conditions or severe weather, transportation may take longer than usual or may be canceled for the day. Notices will be posted on our Brightwheel communication app or you may call our main line at 262-947-0437.
Guidelines and Requirements:
- Riders must be picked up and dropped off at the same location each day; changes are not permitted.
- Riders must be received and released to a responsible adult over the age of 18.
- If a rider will be absent, please notify our office at least 24 hours in advance at 262-947-3660 or via the Brightwheel App. Changes in regular ridership require 1 week notice. Repeated failure to notify may result in termination of transportation services, with a one-week notice provided to arrange alternate transportation.
- Riders must wear safety belts at all times.
Our transportation rules and guidelines are designed to ensure the safety and well-being of all drivers and riders. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue service if a rider poses a risk to themselves or others, or if ongoing transportation-related concerns arise.
Adaptive Swim Lessons
Our adaptive swim lessons focus on building water safety and developing essential swimming skills in a supportive, fun environment. With a 1:1 staff-to-participant ratio, our instructors create personalized plans to help each swimmer gain confidence, feel comfortable, and enjoy their time in the pool. You do not need to be enrolled in any of our other programs to participate. Adaptive swim lessons are open to everyone (youth ages 7-17 and adults 18+).
Getting Started
Before joining any of our Therapeutic Recreation (TR) programs or services, an assessment is required. This helps us better understand each participant’s needs, interests, and goals so we can provide the best possible experience.
Step 1: Complete our Interest Form.
Step 2: Once we receive your form, a staff member will contact you to schedule the assessment.
Step 3: After the assessment, we’ll work together to find the right program fit for your child or family member.
