The annual Run with the Turkeys 5K will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, along the shores of Lake Andrea in Prairie Springs Park. The family-friendly event welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to participate in a scenic 5K course that starts and finishes at the Donald Wruck Beach Pavilion on the west side of the park.
The race begins at 9:00 a.m., with packet pickup available from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. inside the Beach Pavilion. Participant parking will be available in the lots surrounding the pavilion.
Online registration is open through noon on Friday, November 21, at
runreg.com/runwiththeturkeys5k. The registration fee is $30 for competitive participants and $10 for non-competitive youth ages 14 and under. Competitive participants will receive a finisher medal with an event t-shirt, and non-competitive youth participants will receive a finisher medal.
Post-race refreshments will be provided, and awards will be presented to overall and age-group winners. Official race results will be posted online within 24 hours of the event.
